Description

A Single Frame, taken last July, of the Constealltion of the Swan, or Cygnus. It is one of the most beautiful Northern Constellations, shining at the Zenith from Mid-Northern Latitudes. However, from the Southern Hem. (this picture was taken at 22º S), Cygnus is only visible near the Horizon.

This was taken at 1 a.m., while some clouds were near the Horizon. Some light pollution is visible at the clouds, that were 10º Altitude. From that spot in the location, the Northern Horizon is partially blocked by trees, and NGC 7000 (The North America Nebula) is behind the trees. I'll try to image this target next session, if possible, when it will be passing the Meridian at 20 p.m. Taken from Rural Skies (Bortle 3-4), MG, Brazil. Thanks for seeing.

Camera: Unmodded T4i/650D at ISO 1600

Lens: Canon 40mm STM at f/3.2
