NGC6992 VS Light Pollution

In 2011 shortly after modifying my DSLR for astrophotography camera, I took this picture of NGC 6992 using the team's Association Leon Astronomy was the first image flooded by an exaggerated gradient due to the light pollution of the city of León and since it was to this other newbies like Pac-Man Nebula and IC434 joined among others.

NGC6992've rescued since I have recently obtained some shots of it in H-Alpha and as set aside some time to try to rescue will process the color of this nebula.

First I go and just dive combined with STF image, and the final image is slightly cut and gently processed image.

En 2011 poco despues de modificar mi cámara reflex para astrofotografía, tomé esta imagen de NGC 6992 utilizando el equipo de La Asociacion Leonesa de Astronomia, fue la primera imagen inundada por un gradiente exagerado debido a la contaminación luminica de la ciudad de León y dado que era un nobato a esta imagen se unieron otras como la Nebulosa Pac-Man y IC434 entre otras.

NGC6992 la he rescatado ya que recientemente he obtenido unas tomas de la misma en H-Alpha y en cuanto saque un poco de tiempo la procesare para intentar rescatar el color de esta nebulosa.

Primero subo la imagen combinada y simplemente estirada con STF, y la imagen final es la imagen algo recortada y procesada suavemente.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status.
