Earth's Shadow and the Belt of Venus, from a plane at 16000 ft (5000m)

Description

While flying home, from Maceió (Northeast Brazil), our plane had to wait because of the intense aerial traffic in the airport. The Sunset payed off that wait! And right after the sunset, in the Eastern Sky a beautiful phonomena happened, the Earth's Shadow in its Atmosphere, and the so called Belt of Venus, that orange-ish band above the Earth's Shadow.

This was the 1st time I see that Shadow, and it is indeed very beautiful. As this was my 1st time, I may have mistaken other phenomen, so, if I'm wrong, please correct me. There are other images from that trip, and many stories, which I hope to post soon.

Taken from an Airbus A321, at 16000 ft, or 5000m, near São Paulo, on Sunday's (09/11/14) afternoon. Thanks for seeing.
