This image was made by combining 186 different images, mostly creative commons, plus some that I've been given permission to use.

All processing was done in PixInsight.

I tried a new method on this one. Normally I stack RGB as one single process, but with this image, I registered all frames, and then extracted R, G and B. Next I combined each channel into a "LinearFit" master, and ran the LF Script on all frames towards the masters. That gave me the possibility to use rejection more effectively, and thereby I was able to increase SNR of the final stacks by more than 50%.
