Description

Lynd's Bright Nebula, LBN777, or Eaglet or Vulture Head Nebula, is a rarely imaged but dusty part of the Taurus Molecular Cloud located about 400 light years away and which includes the famous nearby Pleides. LBN 777 is a very faint reflection nebula observable only photographically. Barnard 207 is the dark nebula which is just above the eye of the vulture's head. North is down in this 10.7 hr LRGB image.
