Description

HDW 2 also known as Sh2-200 is a faint old planetary nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia. This is a closeup of the main body imaged through a 14 inch Meade SCT. As there is a large Ha halo around it, imaging a wider scale can be useful for future projects. There is no SII in the nebula (at least with my setup), hence using just the Ha and OIII in this image. This barely registers above background at f/8 and could use much more data.
