Description

To complete the album of Pokemon's stickers I missed the 99, Kingler...

To complete the album of Pokemon's cards I missed the number 34, Nidoking...

To complete the Messier catalog poster I was missing M83, the Southern Pinwheel Galaxy!

After about 2 and a half years since I decided to make it, I finally managed to shot all 110 Messier objects catalog. There will not be end to this project, because I can always integrate new images acquired and processed with more experience (as I did for M31, M13, M42, M45 etc etc). Especially to replace those DSO taken in a single shot by a few seconds.

The idea came after hearing about the Messier Marathon, which the goal is to observe or photograph all catalog in a whole night (in March this is possible). But I wanted something deeper, at least for most "nice" DSO (quotes because they are all beautiful ), so I must integrate many hours, and this would not have been possible in a single evening

Surely you can tell me: "Yes, but two and a half years to 110 objects are a bit many"... Agree Let's say I allowed some other whim in addition to Messier, a bit for curiosity and a bit for some obligations from Mr. Weather and Mr. Light Pollution

Total exposure is about 67 hours of photons collected from several places and with the following strumentation:

Camera: Canon 450D modded and not

Mounts: Heq5 and NEQ6-PRO

Telescopes: Newton 200/1000 and Refractor 80/480

Next target: completely update objects in the Galactic Core area (when I made it I hadn't the right focal length and autoguide )
