Description

This pair of images is stretched beyond all good taste. Pluto is a fairly bright dot jumping back and forth while 1793 Zoya, magnitude 16.3, is a faint streak jumping back and forth. See my previous Pluto gif for more details.

I'll be posting a tight crop on Zoya but in this one it is just above center-left. I had to turn it to grayscale due to gradients and colored noise. Images are stacks of 60s at ISO 3200. The first night was a near perfect night. Cool, crisp, good seeing, very, very transparent. The second night was a fine night for my location but not as good. Thus, the gradient.
