Description

AG Carinae (HD 94910) is a luminous blue hypergiant variable star in the constellation Carina. It is a very energetic star, over a million times brighter than the Sun. Fierce stellar winds as well as a massive outburst that occured about ten thousand years ago have created a surrounding nebula several light years across.

The raw data had a large bloom and diffraction spikes which I vainly tried to clean up. You can still kinda see where they once where so this isn't the best but still somewhat acceptable and better than nothing at all.

Data from May 15, 1994 from Hubble Legacy Archive.
