Description

Sharpless 119, or Sh2-119, is a large complex of emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus. It is often overlooked by imagers due to the more famous North America and Pelican nebulae about 3 degrees to the west of Sh2-119. It is located just around 68 Cygni (aka HD 203064 or SAO 50690), a bright magnitude 5 star, which is near dead center in this image.

The dates used here are for the sake of simplicity. I actually shot just an hour or two on this over many nights, while waiting on other projects I was working on to get high enough in the sky to start shooting.

Revision A: Final Hubble Palette version.

Revision B: Same as Rev A, but with my Astro Frame action added.

Revision C: Some wanted to see the Ha so I added it here.
