Description

N11B is an extragalactic star-forming region in the Large Magellanic Cloud in Dorado. It is merely a bright knot in a massive complex known as LMC N11 or the Bean Nebula which spans well over 1,000 light years. Itself N11B spans over 200 light years, far bigger than the Orion Nebula and almost as big as the Carina Nebula.
