Description

I was literally too tired to actually select a target (as my previous target was setting below 20deg above the horizon). The Milky Way had also "set" below the horizon, so this is effectively looking "up" from our galactic plane. Since the mount was aligned and performing well, and the weather was about as pristine as it ever gets, I just pointed at a random location to the West that was 60deg above the horizon (so that I could get a couple hours of Lights before dawn). I ended up with 11x600" at ISO400 Lights. Unfortunately nothing particularly interesting is revealed, but I think I'll still start doing this more often.

RevB: This models the approximately scale and location of the image at a much wider Field of View, to give an idea of its relative location to some familiar Constellations.

RevC: This is WorldWideTelescope view of the same region/orientation of the sky, where I tried to reach a similar Field of View.
