Description

Original Version: First day since 10 March that weather and moon have cooperated. Comet 252P was easily photographed on my horizon this morning just after midnight and having passed by M14 24-hours earlier.

Version "B" is composed of 87x60s @ iso 2000 with stars removed and 180mm lens set at f/4.0. You can see a very small tail extending upward from the nucleus.

Version "C" taken 040916 is composed of 120x60s @ iso 2000 with stars removed and 180mm lens set at f/5.0. This image of the core appears brighter and perhaps the small tail has fanned out two days after version "B".

Version "D" taken on 9 April: iso 2000, 25x60s @ f/5.0. Compare with version "A" two days earlier.
