Description

SH2-212 is the nebulosity that surrounds open cluster NGC 1624. The cluster contains the largest magnetic field ever discovered from a star.

The data is from Oct 2015 reprocessed on the 11th July 2016 during an awful period of weather in the U.K

You can see I had some mirror tilt by the stars on the left and right.

Rev A: The Ha stack 11x300s

Rev B: The OIII stack 11x300s

Rev C: The SII stack 13x300s

Rev D: Combined into a SHO image using Pixinsight

Rev E: 4thMay17 re-process as a HOO with SII blended into the R and G channels at 15%. I liked the resulting colour.
