      Description

This 4 panel mosaic has been a labour of love spread over 7 weeks of very mixed UK weather (& political upheaval, LOL!) It is a collaboration of data between myself collecting the Ha data with my Baby Q and Steve Milne (gnomus) collecting the RGB with his WO Star 71. We have enjoyed and learned a lot through this process and is the first time either of us has collaborated this way. See the earlier Ha image, http://www.astrobin.com/251888/B/.

Processing has been a challenge balancing out the various elements of the composition - what do you emphasis and enhance etc - as well as taming the inevitable gradients when imaged from two different rigs, in two different locations and over many nights. There are many fascinating structural features along with plenty of dark and diffuse nebula. Anyway this is version number one.

Equipment details: all the Ha subs are unguided through my Baby Q, QSI683, Astrodon and 10 Micron GM1000HPS. Steve used his WO Star 71, Atik 383L+, and Baader filters on a Mesu 200 (I've shown Astrodon RGB filters in the data for ease). We both use the brilliant SGP and were able to easily form the moasic framing using their wizard. Thanks Steve for your patience, help and gracious humour.
