Description

This was a test with an old SIGMA 600mm f8 mirror lens with Canon FD mount.

After some first test in daylight , I decided to test it for AP.

Additinal I wanted to test my setup with the Star-adventurer mount with this long focal length.
I had a lot of problems with my SWN1145 last time. The guiding never worked fine. I got always too much DEG error during guiding. Several times, at several locations. But the with smaller lenses worked fine.

The SWN1145 weights about 2500g, but the SIGMA 600mm f8 mirror has only 900g.

I could achieve 6 min autoguiding with 600mm focal Lenght with Star adventuer !
(PHD2 showed 2-3 " guiding error only in RA and altough in DEG too)
The picture is a result of 14x 360s subs and 17x 180s

Conclusion: THE STAR-ADVENTURER WORKS FINE !
Version A: first 2 hours
Version B: added 3 additional hours.
