2016 - Another Astrophotography Year Ends - HAPPY 2017!

I't time year is ends. This is a compilation of my best images of 2016, taken with various equipmend during the year, especially in July. All of this images have been posted here in Astrobin (check them in the gallrey), except for one, the blurred background one which I'm posting ASAP.

This was an important year for me: time is everything, and, although I had very few imaging "excursions" - basically 2 or 3 successful trips, due to equipment, other priorities or just bad weather, this was the year I shot the most imaging time. My integration times were almost always over half an hour and got to almost 2 hours in some images. Acquisition was also helped by my 1st sessions using a PC, EQASCOM and Backyard EOS. Processing was also improved with new techiniques. I also purchased a guide scope to be used with my ASI120mm, but I haven't yet tried it out - looking forward taking this next step. Guiding will be a subject for 2017, and also imcreasing my imaging time.

Time rules in astrophotography! And in life as well, and, as every single year ends, we are invited to reflect about our time - life is too short to be wasted. How was this year and how will the coming one be?

The answer depends on how we are going to use our time. Will this New Year resolutions be put to practice? Well, only time will tell!
