Description

Today I'd like to present my very first astrophoto I captured in March 1996 when I was a pupil preparing for my high school graduation.

It was also my very first ATM project: The lens was from a disassembled binocular 7x50 which I had borrowed from my father, mounted into a simple paper tube and fixed to my Canon AE-1 with adhesive tape :-)

My notations tell me the exposure time was roughly 2 minutes on Agfa HDC100 film! But, don't ask me, I cannot remember anymore how I managed to mount the camera, focus the lens and guide it in a suitable manner to achieve point-shaped stars.

Enjoy it!
