Description

I didn't get enough data for the blue channel and about half of my green and luminescence data was bad. I might reshoot the blue and try again.

Description: I was able to get more blue subs, but I still haven't been able to get any hydrogen alpha data. I don't know if it will even help, but it did wonders on my last image.

Description: Still not 100% happy with this - I have a lot of luminance subs, but the stack is still noisy. I don't have any upcoming clear nights, but perhaps I can gather some hydrogen alpha and a few more luminance subs later this month.

Description: Added some red data to the luminance channel in order to combat noise.

Description: Tried stacking luminance, red and blue to reduce noise in the luminance channel. This probably breaks a few unwritten rules...

Description: I reshot the luminance channel and added some hydrogen alpha to the red channel. I messed up my framing, so NGC 4217 didn't make the cut (it's actually juuuust in frame, but the framing is so weird that I decided it was better to cut it out). I think I'm finally done with this. I've been working on this photo for almost three weeks.

Description: I'm continuing to reprocess anything I took this year while I wait for my mount to be repaired. I was always disappointed with how this one came out - and I still am. It's got coma, weird color, too much noise, the core isn't nearly as dynamic as it should be... Guess I'll try again next year?
