Description

IC342, a small galaxy in the constellation Camelopardalis. It is estimated to be between 7 and 11 million l-y from Earth. The object is further hampered from study due to it's location on the equator and the amount of dust between the Milky Way and this particular galaxy. It is the third largest galaxy that is visible to us; following Andromeda and the Triangulum.
