Description

The Leo Triplet is a grouping of three galaxies about 35 million light years away in the constellation Leo consisting of spiral galaxies M65, M66 and NGC 3628 (also known as the Hamburger Galaxy). They are physically close and it's been suggested that they have had an interaction in the past 800 million years, contributing to the warped appearance of M66.
