Description

This was my first bigger project and the first project with the CLS filter.

I didn`t dare to process it till now, because of the ungly color abberation, the green, defocused stars and terrifying halos caused by the CLS filter. And the distorted stars around the corners caused by stopping the apperture only to f4 as well.

After some years of sampling experience in the use of PixInsight i felt now ready to take the callenge of processing this hard cake.

By the overall exposuretime and the littele defocus, it was not necessary to use any denoise routine. In the opposite, i had to use a minimi of sharpening the fainter parts of the image.
Wich is a bit unusual.

In addition to correct the shape ot the stars in the corners, it was also a hard piece of work to remove the halos around the brighter stars.

All in all, iam now satified with the colorbalance, stars and nebuladetails.
