The Fireworks Galaxy with SN2017eaw. Sorry for the endless revisions. I believe I got decent data, but I'm having trouble eking out the best from them. Ultimately, I'm pretty convinced that DSS is messing with my color. I think it might finally be time to invest in PixInsight.
Revision B has SN 2017eaw marked and is heavily cropped.
Fixed histogram, adjusted hue saturation.
Crop of revision G with supernova marked.
Last pair of revisions - promise! Fixing some damage to stars in front of the galaxy caused by a sharpening mistake.
Crop of revision I with the supernova marked.
I added a super luminance using all subframes - I think it brightened the galaxy and made it a little less noisy.
Crop with supernova marked.
Brightened background, made channel mixer adjustments, noise reduction, slightly tighter crop.
Crop of Version O with the supernova marked.
I keep thinking I can improve on this one. I wanted to try restacking as well, but I left for Europe and left the flats on a different hard drive. Oh well! I still think it's better than the previous version. I think I was trying too hard to get rid of the interflux nebula.
Crop of revision Q.
