Description

Weather called for a rare night. Seeing = 4/5 & Trans = Transparent but full Moon. Decided to try Heart Nebula which was 100* away from the Moon. Imaged in Ha only.

Was exposing to get stars under 60K to avoid clipping.

Programmed for 4 hours of subs and went to bed. In the morning saw that SGP had aborted the sequence after 2 hours. Although PHD was still guiding, in the morning, SGP shut down. Checking PHD logs seems that intermittent clouds rolled in.

So much for a clear night!

Description: I tweaked this a bit more. I liked the dark distant black that can be seen through the nebula. I lost a little of the nebula , in that area, but feel it gave a bit more separation between gas and sky.
