Description

Back in the day, late 90's, I did my imaging for the most part with black and white film. I have been shooting mostly in color lately with a Canon DSLR or a few with my ASI178. I decided to try my ASI174mm-cool. I did get a filter wheel to try color with it but last night knowing it was supposed to cloud over I decided to just go with monochrome.

For the Messier 80 award I guess to some degree (well to a large degree) I am going for quantity over quality, while trying to get some quality but also to use the award quest one of learning DSO photography. I did 4 Messier's last night, tried for M8 but either the LP or may have been cloud cover I couldn't get any nebulosity. With the mono camera I will try some of my filters. There is so much to this DSO imaging!
