Description

The Medusa Nebula, PK 205+14.1, is a very old planetary nebula in Gemini, on the border with Canis Minor. It also known as Abel 21 and Sharpless 2-274. The Medusa was discovered in 1955, and until the early 1980s it was thought to be a supernova remnant.

This is an HRhGBo composition, in which, Oiii enhances in the blue/purple color.
