Description

M 14 (also known as NGC 6402) is a globular cluster in the constellation Ophiuchus. It contains about several hundreds of thousands of stars. This globular is remarkable for its even distribution of light across the principal diameter of the cluster. This globular cluster is locationed about 30,000 light years from earth. It was discovered by Charles Messier June 1764.
