A Month of Weekends Well Spent

Description

Pictorial of my DIYLBIONAY (Do It Yourself, Low Budget, Imaging Only, Non-Automated... Yet!) w/ROR build. The basic construction is complete at this point, with material cost ending up around $1500 total. I had an idealistic goal of $1000 when I started but it quickly became apparent that this was too ambitious. Note that the $1500 figure is for the structure only and doesn't include the pier or deck (which probably add another $500 to the total). From here, it's mainly fit & finish, interior usability and electrical work, which will allow me to finally retire The Cart within a couple/few weeks hopefully - woohoo!

The Cart is officially retired as of this weekend, woohoo! This is the "controller corner". There is obviously still some cable management work left, but I'm still thinking through the next iteration of the cabling scheme, since the current scheme is predicated on a two piece system (The Cart+The Pier) and now there is only one piece (The Observatory).

Still using battery power for the moment...
