Description

I didn't intend on imaging this object. I really wanted to image M16 the Eagle Nebula. However M16 was located in the heaviest light pollution in my sky. After taking 4 or 5 test images I decided that I should try and image something else while waiting for M16 to move higher in the sky and further to the South away from the heavy light pollution. I looked around and noticed Ophiuchus

and decided that I would image M10. I had never imaged this object with my AT6RC scope. With all of that said please enjoy my most recent image of M10.
