Description

I performed all guiding now using my modified version of PHD2 to do Multi Star Guiding.

The guiding is good : I have obtained 1.8 to 1.9 arcsec on the central part of the final image (before deconvolution & measured in PI as Moffat 4).

But now I really have to adjust the position of the field flattener as the corner of the image show some coma.

I have to improve the color of the Open Cluster stars ...

The processing was done in PI as follow :

For each R ,G ,V, Ha, OIII & SII channels :

- Flat Field Dark Substraction

- Flat Field Integration

- Images Calibration (Dark Substraction and FF correction)

- Cosmetic Correction

- Image Registration

- Image Integration

- Noise Reduction (Demure)

Using each integrated channel :

- Created RGB color image using channel combination

- Created RGBSHO image using NBLRGB combination tool

- Color balance on stars using a star mask

- Color balance on nebula with mask

- Crop image

- Remove residual background non uniformity using DBE

- Slight deconvolution with background and bright star protection

- Perform SCNR (neutral 70%)

- Nonlinear Image Creation

- Color boost using mask to protect background with boost in blue

Final image adjustments performed in Iphoto on Imac (levels adjustments and deflip)
