SV70T as 2nd Set-Up in My Observatory

Description

Set up my second scope permanently in my observatory tonight; the SV70T on my AVX. As one would expect, I had some kinks to iron out. It was clear enough to do that, but not clear enough to keep in of the subs. So I am at least grateful I got to work on the kinks.

My back focus on my ASI224MC was considerably less than the Lodestar X2 for my Stellarvue 50mm guide scope on the SV70T. I had put a spacer on there for the Lodestar X2. Had a pain taking the spacer off. I broke one of the locking screws. Thank god for dremel tools. I dremeled a notch in it so I can tighten it with a flat head screw driver.

Most of my other kinks were software related. Each is running independently with it's own rig runner and laptop set-up.

My AVX with the SV70T is running smoothly now. My Howie Glatter laser collimator kit will be delivered Monday so I can work on the main 12" Newt collimation. It needs some TLC. Getting elongated stars with good guiding. I don't think it is flexure either, as I was getting good stars the first couple weeks I set up the 12" Newt.
