Description

First test of the new scope. Some collimation errors still and some tilt along the top right to lower left diagonal. The scope at F4 shows coma near the center and isn't as forgiving as an F5 scope. Will need a coma corrector very soon.

C

Description: Getting close. Central stars are pretty round Capella isn't quite in the middle of its aura but it's a Quadruple star system with a companion of similar size in a 140 day orbit. Coma looks even around the edges.

D

Description: Taken on Christmas Eve, just 10x30s subs per filter LRGB, with the Baader MPCC MkIII coma corrector fitted. The Median FWHM is 3.224px and the Median eccentricity is 0.4696 the support images show a slight tilt from right to left but the star errors look similar throughout so pretty happy with the results. No sign of an end in the cloud cover so the first light is a long way off atm.
