Description

A simultion of how the eclipse looked in the sky with it in the upper left and Orion in the lower right.

The original image is a single frame during the height of totality taken at 18mm through my T3i. The final image adds my composite of the eclipse stages in "real" size with the image brightened and cropped.

There are very few times when a full moon is so dim that you can take a single exposure that shows it accurately as well as stars! Last night was the darkest eclipse I've ever seen!
