Description

Helix Nebula - NGC 7293

It took me and my friends nearly a month to finish this object (due to recently bad weather at ChileScope site and bad luck). But the waiting is worthy, it is really amazing to see the structure of this ancient planetary nebula and meantime the possible future of our own solar system.

The Helix Nebula in the constellation of Aquarius lies about 700 light-years away, spanning about 2.5 light-years.
