Description

This picture was taken by Christian Hennes (not me !)

See original publication on his own page https://www.astrobin.com/418944/#c368701 (time exposure and so on ... is described on his own page, have a look ! )

Christian's sofware release didn't include few important options for processing the post-stack , he allowed me to try , and publish it, just for seing what i could be (the picture I am publishing here needs revision, base on the original stack , but it's just a sample : a lot of "signal" has been "captured" by Christian , a good work ! )

Christian spent 7 hours, taking this picture (only 15 minutes for me to post-process a sample, based on his fisrt post-stack "process" published on astrobin, but with available options in my sofware ... no merit )

So, if you like this picture , just notice that 96,43% of the job has been made by Christian Hennes, not me ! Put a like on his own page with a comment , not mine ;-)

Congratulation Christian , I have never been able to take a good picture of IRIS, thank you for sharing the job : now I understand why, your job helped me (not enough signal and too much noise in my picture, I must work differently on that object, no doubt now, since i have processed this post-stack )

Co-working is also available in astrobin : sharing raws or Fits and Tiff , I will have a look on this .

One of these days, it would be great to built together (30 000 "astrobinners"), the "century stack" : same instruments and imagers on the same object, with more than one thousand pictures to stack per deep sky objects and "instrument setup" (F/D and so on) , several thousand hours exposure on the same object ... : a dream and a so wonderfull project, full of humanity, without frontiers, just for a single and wonderfull picture of the sky , for free and pleasure .

A nice idea ?

congralulation Christian, and thank you !
