Description

Sharpless 112 from upper Cygnus. This is a small and bright emission region with interesting structure. This is typically not imaged due its more famous neighbors.

This was shot in my rig at Marathon Texas (MaRIO) when the moon was high. The dark structure in this region is really complex and gives a pretty interesting look IMO.

This target has pretty strong signal in Ha/OIII/SII. So it is a nice target for SHO images. I prefer this mix mainly due to its star color. Total integration time is 40 hours.

60x20min of Ha. 30x20min of OIII and 30x20min of SII

This is shot on equipment shared by Dhaval Bhrambhatt and Myself.

Mount: AP900, Camera: QHY814A CCD. OTA: Edge11, Filters: Astrodon Ha,OIII,SII.
