Last year I changed my Canon 5d2 replacing the standard filter with Baader.
Operation done by a Canon Service Center agreement, I must say without any finding of residual dust on the filter.
Use the 5d2 an alternative to a Canon 60D modified CentralDS.
The great enthusiasm the moment, the first tests showed the 5d2 me with a really very low noise.
Then the tests are passed to try some shots serious "" and unfortunately I had to find the presence of strong colored balloons that pop up on the stars brighter, especially with greater clarity as we move away from the optical axis center to the edges .
I enclose some work to better understand.
I'm asking:
1) it depends on the use of very "open optics" (normally Canon EF 200 f / 2)?
2) and if I tried to remove the filter? then whether this cleaning is feasible or shall I put me to cry?
Looking looking I realized that the same problem, albeit to varying degrees, is also present on the photos taken with the 60d, but I come back to the consideration of the opening of the optics used and in this case the area of the smallest sensor and 5d2 therefore with less impact. But it is so?
I recently sold a bit 'of stuff and I bought a Taka FSQ106EDX4. Even here with 5d2 manifests the problem. Unfortunately I only have a few minutes testing and with so much noise made in difficult conditions SQL (19:00), but the sides are seen!
Thank you for any suggestions.
