I'm happy to be a member of this Narrowband Imaging group. Even though I do not yet have the capability for NB imaging I hope to change that status very soon.

I just love NB images, that is one thing that has drawn me to this craft of taking photos with a telescope.

I'm hoping that this group will be more than just a place to publish NB images, I am hoping that this group will be a place of learning, a place where one can learn, by those who know, the delicate details of how to take and process this mode of imaging.

Once again, happy to be a member.

Agreed. I shoot almost solely narrowband due to where I live, and my schedule. Really great idea for a group! Hello all, and clear skies!

Hey everybody! I just joined and am really looking forward to learning and sharing in this group. Now, if these clouds would ever go away, I could actually take some exposures and start processing. Ah!

I took my first Hubble palette image a few weeks ago though. It was of the flaming star nebula and the tadpole nebula. I got just under 2 hours in each of Ha, SII, and OIII as a starting point and just before the clouds rolled in again. But since then, I've recently bought the ASI1600MM-Pro and filter wheel set combo pack. Wouldn't it be funny if instead of McDonald's there was a telescope store where you would order like your at McDs? Haha! Imagine saying, "yeah, I'd like the celestron CGX-L mount to-go please". And they say, "Do you want an autoguider package with that to supersize?".

Anyways, hang in there, folks. Clear skies are coming soon. If not, I'll have to learn the rain dance in reverse and see if that helps.

Best,

John
