I live in a rural area. The absent minded, run down, feeling of ignorance degrades my otherwise optimistic view of astronomy. No one around where I seem to live, could care less about the universe. (An impression driven down my throat countless times, by many classmates that claim "it just doesn't matter.") It's really awesome to see a website dedicated to astrophotography. In my otherwise dull life, surrounded by people that seem to just simply exist, this oasis of mind expanding images could be what sustains my sanity. I really hope I can somehow persuade these people enough to just look through a telescope. It only took me one time when I was younger to be hooked.
