Description

I've tried new things in my processing workflow in PixInsight in order to improve stars in this image. The two big stars nearby are about 2 magnitudes brighter than the cluster. So it was not easy for me to stretch the cluster.

I've already imaged NGC2419 about 3 year ago. Here is what I wrote back then:
NGC2419 is an outstanding globular cluster which orbits the Milky Way every 3 billions years. Its path takes it far beyond the galaxy into the intergalactic space. Its distance from the galaxy center is currently about 300 000 light years, which is farther away than the Magellanic Clouds. Due to the large distance the NGC2419 brightness is only about 10m and its apparent size is about 6 arcmin. However in fact it is a huge cluster nearly 500 light years across, which is almost 3 times larger than the Omega Centauri.

Thanks for looking.
