Description

Couldn't believe my eyes as one sub after another was contaminated by satellite trails over a span of about 40 minutes. Very frustrating! Was able to recover a usable luminance map from this session but I wanted to share this moment.

My initial suspicion was that the cluster on the right were StarLink, but it turns out these were Geostationary satellites. The two on the left appear to be HISPASAT 30W-6 and Horizons 3E, per Stellarium + Celestrak. I haven't identified the others but the direction of the streaks, roughly parallel with the equatorial plane, suggest these were GEO birds as well.
