Description

This is a 2 panel mosaic showcasing part of the carina nebula and NGC 3324 and 3293 in Narrowband with RGB stars.

This celestial region is brimming with fascinating phenomena and intricate cosmic features.I have pushed my equipment to its limits in terms of resolution, striving to reveal as much detail as possible.

This project presents a unique opportunity for collaboration with someone who has a deeper focal length, allowing us to focus on specific features and create an ultra-high-resolution image. If this prospect interest you, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Now, let's delve into this image.

Many of you are likely familiar with the Carina Nebula, the brightest nebula in the sky. However, it's only visible to those of us residing in the southern hemisphere. This image contains a wealth of intriguing objects, and the high resolution allows you to zoom in and explore them in detail. To begin, let's focus on the core of the Carina Nebula, situated on the right side of this image.Carina.jpg

We have a lot going on  here such as dust pillar, globules as well as some stricking objects made famous by the Hubble telescope. Find the bellow the 2 most well know Hubble images from this region:

The Defiant finger is a good one with its pretty shape

The Mystic Mountains, which is an absolute beautiful object... These are massive pillar made of dust and gas. The Hubble Space Telescope captured the Mystic Mountain's impressive details.

Then moving to the left of the image of NGC 3324 also names the Gabriela Mistral Nebula due to its resemblance to the famous Chilean poet.

While processing the RGB image for the stars, I noticed a faint feature within NGC 3324 that was barely visible in my narrowband images. Additionally, this feature is located near a bright star, making it difficult to find images that showcase it in detail. To highlight this elusive feature, I integrated this portion of the RGB image into the luminance master, aiming to bring out as much detail as possible.

It seems to be some sort of reflection nebula but I could not find any information on this feature.

And finally to the complete left of the image we have NGC 3293 an open cluster that consists of more than 100 stars brighter than 14th magnitude.
