Description

NGC 2336 is a strikingly beautiful barred spiral galaxy located approximately 100 million light years away in the constellation Camelopardalis.

I started this one last February and was really disappointed I wasn't able to finish it in the Spring, so I made it one of my primary targets as soon as it came back into view. I'm really happy with how this one came out - details I didn't think I'd be able to capture in an 8" scope were immediately apparent once I started processing.
