Description

I never got a globular star cluster the way I wanted, so I took the most famous of all (ok, Omega Centauri is probably more famous) and experimented with some different exposure times, knowing that at 300s the core will be blown out, so I needed at least some images with way less. My last image of NGC 2903 120s exposures were used, which provided a pretty nice image. But from this trial with M13 I definitely can recommend 5 min exposures as a base, it just reveals more stars, and use the 2 min and 30 second exposures to reveal the stars of the core. I love the result, definitely my best image of a globular so far.
