Description

My Espirit 100 was tossed off my 2nd story balcony by the wife on New Years... long story and not going to get into it here. I was able to put it back together and did an in focus and out of focus star test. Remarkably I had perfect looking concentric circles.

So I moved the scope to a remote imaging location where it could not be toss off the balcony again and this is my first image. Sadly the focuser appears to be damaged as it has backlash which is affecting the auto focusing. So I had 1/2 of my data with really good 1.8-1.9 FWHM stars and the other half out of focus at 3.5-4 FWHM but still wanted to put an image together to show how well made this Refractor is by SkyWatcher USA.

Total 90 min Ha and 90 min O3

I will upload the infocus and out of focus star for feedback soon since there are so many knowledgable people here on AstroBin.
