Description

NGC457 is a beautiful open cluster located about 7,900-ly away in Cassiopeia. It contains greater than 150 stars. The two bright stars look like the eyes and I can imagine the feet and wing tips looking at the image...

This was done during a full moon and I did have gradients to deal with. But our weather has been very poor and with a clear night, I could not resist, even with the full moon. I'm sure many of you understand that feeling, lol...

Another image done with HyperStar. I was at the Starizona HQ in Tucson for an observing group session with those guys after I imaged this. I managed to learn a few things about the system that I believe will lead to better images going forward.
