First Lights from my newton 300/1200 LACERTA , thanks to Tommy Nawratil for the building of this setup !

I started this project too late in the season , and M16 is declining lower on the horizon night after night. From France , the target is not very high and shrinks the time period to get it !

Nonetheless , I succeeded to get with enough Halpha at 300s, then I reduce the exposure for SII and OIII at 180s for such a bright object , it works fine. More subs mean less noise in the integrated master, if the signal is present.

7 nights : 10, 12, 13, 15, 22, 23, 24 of August

49 SII Subs @180s (gain 139, -20°C)

50 OIII Subs @180s (gain 139, -20°C)

57 HalphaSubs @300s (gain 139, -20°C)

=> 156 subs @300s about 13hours of exposure
