Description

The always popular and challenging M33. I have shot the M33 many times over the last 10 years using different equipment configurations. Quite honestly from the 1st time to this time I have been very happy with what I managed to capture and process on each occasion, as it always improved on my previous attempt. This time though is quite a step forward compared to what I managed to achieve using a WO132FLT refractor, 2 years ago, with a mono ZWO 183MM (image is on my account). I am quite honestly left speechless with the amount of quality data a RASA can collect in such a short period of time!

Regardless I will no doubt be imaging this magnificent target again as my skills and equipment improve, hopefully I will be as surprised and happy as I am with this effort next time around!

This was taken on a RASA 11 scope on top of an iOptron 120EC mount, unguided, no filters, in a Bortle Class 5 sky. Processing was very light. Original stack and config completed in Astro Pixel Processor (amazing program if your lazy, like me :-) ) then a few minor tweeks in Photoshop.
