Description

NGC 5216/5218 is a interacting pair of Galaxies known as well as ARP 104.

The pair is in a distance of 137 Mio Lj. There is a long tidal stream between the galaxies which itself are small. 1,8 x 1,2 and 1,8x 1,1 arcmin only!

The Galaxie in the left corner is NGC 5205 which is in a distance of 84 Mio Lj. Size is about 3,2 x 1,8 arcmin.
