Description

On this day, i had to go west for clear skies. First i hang out at the river passing Neiden, later i had to flee further westward into Finnish Lapland. Lapland seems always to be an option, whether you're in Tromso or in Kirkenes. It is further inland, more distant from the sea, and has also some mointains drying air coming from north westerly winds.

Some kilometres down the road, i found this beautiful frozen lake, called Pikku Jääjärvi. There i had some of the most colorful and also bright aurorae i ever experienced. Sometimes, i had the impression there's a car approaching from behind, when something bright appeared in my back. But nah - that wasn't cars.

Finally, fog came in and my lenses froze.
